Hotelfund
Hotel properties continue to be highly sought after by international and national investors. The Bayerische Versorgungskammer and Universal-Investment, in cooperation with GBI, are launching a new hotel fund in order to play an even stronger role in this asset class in the future. The target volume of the fund amounts to € 500 million in the first step and is expected to grow further.
The Lindner Hotel Am Michel in Hamburg is the first property purchased for the fund, which is a special fund under Luxembourg law (Luxembourg SCS; RAIF). Three other hotels have already been purchased: Premier Inn in Nuremberg, Hampton by Hilton in Kiel and the niu Yen in Hamburg.
Fundmanagement at a glance
We advise the fund from the purchase all the way to the asset management of the held hotels up to their sale.
Purchase profile hotel fund
GBI has acquired a mandate for the hotel fund. In future, we will therefore no longer only act as a successful hotel project developer, but also as the final investor for the fund.
This is a special fund under Luxembourg law investing in hotels in the D-A-CH region. GBI is exclusively commissioned with the fund and asset management for this business.
