Berlin/Cologne, February 22nd, 2019. GBI group was awarded the renowned immobilienmanager-Award 2019. The project developer received the award in the category "Investment" during yesterday's award ceremony in Cologne. GBI AG and GBI Wohnungsbau plan and build modern, well-connected and affordable accommodation for different needs. Students and trainees live in our SMARTments student in university cities. The fully-equipped SMARTments business also accommodates professional and private travelers who stay in a city for several weeks or months. The SMARTments living specifically take into account the growing demand for small accommodation in urban locations in the sustainable housing market. Thanks to suitable locations and good prizing strategies, the SMARTments are almost fully let in all areas. Calculated, the utilization is well over 90 percent. The various SMARTments concepts have also proven to be a very good complement to mixed-use projects, such as converted railway areas or the construction of new neighborhoods.
