It's nearly time: Our e-magazine "GBI. The developer of ideas" comes out once every quarter, and looks at topics relevant to residential construction, commercial property, serviced apartments and other current issues in the real estate sector. Alongside contributions from well-known journalists and authors from a variety of industry fields, you will also find news about our projects and a look at what is next.
Our current issue is entitled:
What it's about: Contrary to all apprehensions, thus far Germany has been fairly resilient throughout the current crisis brought about by inflation as well as rising energy costs For the real estate industry, the situation also brings with it the opportunity to address areas in dire need for change, such as the issues of sustainability as well as serial and modular construction. This issue will focus on the opportunities facing the real estate industry. In our view, a considerable majorities of these opportunities are focused around the in the housing sector. The demand for new housing in urban centres is still enormous - this applies to all segments: from subsidised to privately financed housing, as well as to all derivative forms of housing, such as student accommodation and senior living. At MIPIM, the "Residential" asset class was expected to have the highest resilience and to make a quick comeback.
Christian Hunziker provides you with an overview of the situation in Germany. Simon Hübner examines the opportunities afforded by serial construction in the areas of sustainability and cost minimisation in residential construction, while Daniel Zawe describes the healthy market opportunities that exist in the micro-apartment sector. Simon Behr in turn explains current investment strategies and market opportunities.
And of course, we also inform you about current Group projects and upcoming events.
We wish you happy reading!
